World Padel Tour Returns to Marbella in 2026
The prestigious World Padel Tour is back on the Costa del Sol this spring. Here's everything you need to know about attending the Marbella Master.
The Marbella Master: One of Padel's Most Prestigious Stops
The Marbella Master is one of the most eagerly anticipated events on the professional padel calendar. Drawing the world's top players to the Costa del Sol each spring, the tournament combines world-class padel action with the glamour and sunshine that Marbella does so well. The 2026 edition promises to be the biggest yet, with upgraded facilities and an expanded spectator programme.
Professional padel in 2026 is organised under the Premier Padel banner — the main tour supported by the International Padel Federation (FIP) and the Qatar Sports Investments group. The Marbella stop is one of the most-watched events of the season, partly because of the venue's reputation and partly because the warm spring conditions in Marbella produce some of the fastest and most attacking padel of the year.
When and Where
The 2026 Marbella Master takes place from April 15 to 19 at the Puente Romano Beach Resort's beachside terrace. The iconic glass courts will be set up on the resort's beachside terrace, creating a spectacular backdrop for the action. Gates open at 10:00 each day, with the main draw matches typically beginning at 11:00.
Puente Romano's padel facilities have hosted elite-level play before, and the logistical infrastructure for a Premier Padel event is well-established here. The temporary grandstand is set up each year to accommodate several hundred spectators per session on the main show court. The evening sessions, typically starting at 19:00, are the most atmospheric — the floodlights come on as the light fades over the Mediterranean, with the hotel's famous gardens providing a lush backdrop.
- Dates: 15–19 April 2026
- Venue: Puente Romano Beach Resort, Marbella
- Tickets: From €25 per day (ground pass) to €180 (VIP package)
- Stars to watch: Juan Lebrón, Alejandro Galán, Gemma Triay, Alejandra Salazar
- Schedule: Gates open 10:00 daily; evening sessions from 19:00

Players to Watch
Men's Draw
Juan Lebrón and Alejandro Galán, the reigning world number one pair, are the heavy favourites. Their combination of Lebrón's explosive net aggression and Galán's precise smash from the back is the most feared in the game. Challengers include Arturo Coello, whose attacking instinct and physical power make him capable of defeating anyone on his day, and Franco Stupaczuk, who performs particularly well on outdoor panoramic courts — exactly the conditions at Puente Romano.
Women's Draw
Gemma Triay and Alejandra Salazar are the dominant force in women's padel and have won the Marbella tournament in two of the last three years. Their tactical intelligence and defensive consistency make them extremely hard to beat on a surface as fast as Puente Romano's outdoor courts. Watch for Ari Sánchez, whose aggressive serve and attacking style have propelled her into the world's top five pairs this season.
Getting Tickets
Tickets for the 2026 Marbella Master go on sale on March 25 via the official Premier Padel website. Day passes offer access to all courts and the main arena, while the VIP package includes a dedicated lounge, complimentary food and drinks, and the chance to attend the players' gala dinner. We strongly recommend booking early — the event sold out in 2025 and demand is even higher this year.
If you are attending with a group, the VIP package represents excellent value when split: at €180 per person it includes drinks, food, covered seating, and access to the player warm-up area. The ground pass at €25 is great value for a full day but does not include reserved seating on the main show court — popular sessions on finals day can mean standing-room only in the unreserved areas.
Getting There
Puente Romano Beach Resort is located on the N-340 highway between Marbella town centre and Puerto Banús, approximately three kilometres from the Marbella motorway exit. Parking at the resort during the tournament is limited — we recommend using the public parking on the beach road and walking five minutes to the venue. Taxis from central Marbella cost around €10–15 depending on traffic. During finals weekend (Saturday–Sunday), allow extra time for traffic on the N-340.
Around the Tournament: Padel Activities for All
Beyond the professional matches, the tournament village will feature a padel demo court where fans can try the sport under the supervision of qualified coaches, a large pro shop with the latest equipment, and a fan zone with food, music, and padel-themed activities for children. It's a fantastic day out even if you've never picked up a padel racket before. If you're visiting Marbella for the tournament and want to play yourself, our guide to the best padel clubs in Marbella will help you find a court nearby.
The Tuesday and Wednesday qualifying sessions are significantly less crowded than the main draw and are an excellent way to see emerging players up close. Several of the qualifiers will be future top-ten players — watching them at this stage is a privilege that becomes increasingly rare as they rise through the rankings.
The Wider Costa del Sol Padel Scene
The Marbella Master is the jewel in the crown, but the Costa del Sol's padel scene runs year-round. NAC Nueva Alcantara in San Pedro de Alcántara hosts FIP Platinum events and A1 Padel Tour stops throughout the year on its Range Rover Central Court, complete with 800+ spectator capacity grandstands. If you miss the Marbella Master or want to experience more live professional padel during your visit, check the NAC events calendar at nacpadel.com for upcoming fixtures.
